MemiGuard collects the following types of information:
- Discord Account Data: Username, user ID, avatar, and email address (via Discord OAuth2)
- Server Data: Server ID, server name, channel information, role information, and member lists
- Moderation Data: Warning cases, bans, kicks, timeouts, and custom commands you create
- Message Data: Message counts (aggregated daily, not message content) for analytics. Message content is only stored when flagged by automod or reported.
- Support Tickets: Ticket messages and transcripts (only within configured ticket channels)
- Usage Data: Bot uptime, command usage statistics, and health metrics
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Provide and maintain the MemiGuard service
- Process moderation actions you configure
- Generate analytics and reports for your server
- Send automated reports to configured channels
- Improve our service and develop new features
- Prevent abuse and ensure service security
3. Data Retention
Data is retained based on your subscription tier:
- Free: 7 days
- Basic: 30 days
- Pro: 90 days
After the retention period, data is automatically deleted. You can request early deletion through the dashboard or by contacting support.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- With Discord (as required for OAuth2 and bot functionality)
- With Sell.app (for payment processing only)
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted database storage, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data we hold about you and your server
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt out of non-essential data collection
7. Cookies
MemiGuard uses essential cookies for authentication (JWT tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
8. Children's Privacy
MemiGuard is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the dashboard or Discord.
